Welcome
to SaddleRockOnLine.com established in 1997.
OUR SITE IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION - SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE.
Thank you for visiting our Stone Wall Clock and Thermometer Company website.
We build all our products at our facility located in San Luis
Obispo, California.
The most commonly asked questions about our products:
Have you really been building stone Clocks & Thermometers for over ten years?
Yes, we have.
Will the Clock or Thermometer I order look just like the sample image?
If you order from our galleries, absolutely.
I just received my slate clock/thermometer and want to know if the fossil impressions are real?
Yes, we alter nothing on the face surfaces of our slate clocks and thermometers.
I see an apricot colored clock/thermometer with white numerals and the design I like; can you build one in a coral color, but with black numerals?
We’ll certainly try - We have a lot of color variations of stone not displayed on our website. Feel free to contact us with your request, and we’ll email you a couple of blank samples and hopefully one will be to your liking.
The corners and edges on my slate Clock/Thermometer aren’t perfect; did you sell me a reject?
Our slate products are from Mother Earth in their original form – small edge chips and uneven thicknesses are what you get with our products. No apologies here, that’s what it’s suppose to be.
Why are their two small brass screws on the face of every product you build?
Slate is a naturally layered stone, the epoxy we use to adhere the wood mount to the stone is so strong that if you try hard enough to pull the mount off – it will most likely take a layer of slate with it. Hence, that’s why, Fred (I think I can pull this apart) Flintstone - we use the screws.
I really like the clock in the Set gallery number 112, can I buy it?
Sorry, no. We go through hundreds of pieces of slate to get matching sets, so to break them apart would really be a shame.
